Describe your dream in context, beyond a single symbol

Authentic Islamic Heritage

The same image can appear in very different dreams. What happened, how you felt, and what is on your mind all matter. Start with your story or browse the symbol guide with its limits in mind.

How to begin

Write down events in order, note the feelings you remember, and separate what you saw from what you inferred after waking.

What the result can offer

A possible reading for reflection that makes uncertainty visible; it cannot reveal the future or diagnose a condition.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does every symbol have one fixed meaning?

No. Context matters, and a symbol name alone cannot settle an interpretation.

Can I read before submitting a dream?

Yes. Explore the symbol guide and the explanation of the interpretation process.

Islamic & Psychological-Scientific — Together

Both interpretations appear side by side by default. The comparison is the real value.

Islamic Heritage

Islamic Interpretation

A possible reading inspired by Islamic dream-interpretation tradition, with the works used listed. Naming a book does not mean the exact symbol or wording appears in it.

Academic Psychology

Psychological-Scientific Analysis

A reflective psychological reading listing works related to sleep and dreams. A listed work does not prove a fixed meaning for every symbol or constitute a diagnosis.

Jung: Man and His Symbols (1964)
Walker: Why We Sleep (2017)
Hobson & McCarley: AJP (1977)
Domhoff: Scientific Study of Dreams (2003)
Barrett: The Committee of Sleep (2001)

How Do We Interpret Your Dream?

Extract Symbols Literally

The AI extracts only the symbols explicitly stated in your dream text — it is barred from inventing adjacent symbols (e.g. mentioning the moon then interpreting stars) or asking follow-up questions.

Two Independent Tracks, Not One Verdict

The traditional track lists dream-interpretation works, and the psychological track lists works about sleep and dreaming. A general reference is not a pinpoint citation for a claim; differing readings are shown without certainty.

Mandatory Hedging, Never Certainty

Every interpretation uses "may indicate"/"may reflect", never "definitely means" — both AI prompts explicitly refuse religious rulings or clinical psychological diagnosis, and must cite a source or reference for every key symbol.

What Your Result Will Look Like

Illustrative example — for a hypothetical dream, not a real user's dream
Dream Text (example)

"I saw myself walking in a wide green garden, the sun was shining, and I felt complete peace."

Islamic Interpretation

Classification: True Dream — the sense of peace supports this. Symbol: "green garden" — may indicate abundant sustenance and goodness. Symbol: "shining sun" — may indicate honor and success. Summary: a general glad tiding of coming good.

Psychological-Scientific Analysis

Neuro-functional classification: positive emotional processing (Walker, 2017). Central image: "green garden under a shining sun" — a dominant feeling of peace (Hartmann, 2008). May reflect current psychological stability or a wish for calm (Domhoff, 2003). Disclaimer: scientific effort that may be mistaken, not a clinical diagnosis.

The real interpretation is more detailed (full classification, Jungian analysis when archetypal symbols appear, and grounding in your questionnaire answers).
